While reading the latest Roberto Vacca’s book, Patatrac!, I realized just another time that my (our) mind is full of weak beliefs, at least arguable. I always thought, everybody always told me, that petrol/metan/coke are made through a biologica process, related to previous age of our small planet. But someone told me that this explanatation could be false for some very good and compelling reasons. Of course, I am not sure that this alternative explanation is the real truth, but at least, for sure, the common theory, the one I learned at primary school, sounds now doubtful. In fact, the Dr. Thomas Gold, and some others, made studies that seem to demonstrate a different origin of the oil field, and a consequent really different expectations of the lasting of the overall Earth’s petrol reserve. In row details, Dr. Gold explained with some true evidences that why depleted oil fields (some of them) were re-filled naturally after a while, due to the fact that petrol is not made through a biologica process, but it comes from the deep biosphere, produced, ejected by the centre of the Earth.
